To require pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE before logging on
- Open Users and Passwords in Control Panel.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- In Secure Boot Settings, click Require users to press Ctrl-Alt-Delete before logging on.
Notes
- You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group to use Users and Passwords.
- Pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE before logging on guarantees that the authentic Windows 2000 logon prompt appears. Requiring the use of CTRL+ALT+DELETE increases security and helps to thwart certain programs.
